Creepy Camping Weekend 2025
Friday September 26th
6-7pm Campfire Stories and Smores - at the nature playscape fire ring. Bring a chair, your favorite campfire story, and some smores supplies to share.
7:30-9p Kid’s Movie in lower level of LINC. The movie Hocus Pocus will be played and FREE popcorn will be available. Bring a chair or blanket.
Saturday September 27th
10-11am Pumpkin Rolling Contest - $5 kids and $10 adults, prizes given, meet at the Roundhouse.
1-3pm Kid’s Activities - Mini Pumpkin Decorating and Bingo will be at the LINC front porch. Sign-up required by September 24th, email mblair@iowacounty.iowa.gov with name the number attending. Pollinator Houses - Iowa County Master Gardeners will have materials to make and take home a pollinator house in the lower level of the LINC.
4pm Costume Contest - and winner announcement of Camper Decorating Contest, meet behind the LINC.
5-7pm Trick-or-Treating in the Campground - For the safety of participants, the roads in the campground will be closed to vehicle traffic during this time.

Friends of Iowa County Conservation Foundation Fall Banquet
Silent Auction and Wine tasting will start at 5pm and Dinner to follow at 6pm. All proceeds from this year's banquet will benefit a project at Gateway Park in Marengo, IA.
Tickets are $40 each and available for purchase at Lake Iowa Nature Center, follow this link https://www.venmo.com/u/FICCF, or from any FICCF board member.
