911 Dispatcher/Jailer Wanted


Duties include receiving emergency and non-emergency calls for service from the public and dispatching appropriate personnel.

Requires typing, computer skills, and the ability to perform multiple tasks.  Full-time position (4 ten-hour days) with shift hours. Shift hours will be mostly 5p-3a. Training/Probation wage is $17.65 per hour.  Full stepped-up wage is currently $25.91 per hour plus shift differential and longevity. Full benefit package is included.

Paramedic staffed ambulances based in Marengo and Williamsburg respond to over 1700 requests annually.


Two ambulances are staffed 24/7 and two additional ambulances are available for special events and during peak call volumes.

Ambulances are equipped with the latest state of the art equipment including:

Powerload Cots, CPAP, LifePak15 Monitors, and LUCAS devices.
