Sex Offenders
By Iowa Code, the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office must register sex offenders who reside or establish a residence, employment, or attendance as a student with the County.
Offenders who need to register with Iowa County must do so in person between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Appointments are encouraged.
If you are aware of an offender who has not registered or is not living at their registered address, please contact our office and we will check that they are compliant with the Iowa code. Do not take action on your own. Please call our non-emergency line at 319-642-3496.
