Jail

The purpose of the Iowa County Jail is to house detainees as ordered by the Judicial system. It is the Sheriff's policy to hold such detainees in a safe, secure, and dignified manner throughout the duration of their stay. They will be held, free from harassment of any kind, until their release has been ordered by the courts.

The current Iowa County Sheriff's Office and Jail opened in the Spring of 2006. The jail is a 46-bed facility.
