Jail Accommodation Fees
When an offender is sentenced to serve time on an Iowa County charge (mittimus), he/she may be required to pay for the jail stay.
The Iowa County Jail charges for jail stay range are as follows:
- $20/day when ordered by the courts for a specific date and time or when brought directly from court to the jail to immediately begin serving the sentence.
- $30/day when approved by the courts and the Sheriff for work release (must pay 1 week in advance)
- $40/day when the courts approve you to set up your own time to come in.
