Work Release Rules
At the continuing discretion of the Sheriff, some model-sentenced prisoners may be allowed to participate in the Iowa County Jail Work Release Program.
You must be sentenced to a minimum of 14 days to be eligible for work release. Paperwork can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office that must be completed and returned at least 2 weeks before you wish to start serving your sentence. Work release costs are $30/day and you must pay at least one full week in advance before being permitted to work. See the work release packet for additional rules.
